CFISD Football Season Schedule

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD new varsity football schedule for the 2018 season includes two additional CFISD teams and multiple non-district games for the first time in more than a decade.

Bridgeland High School, which opened in 2017, and Cypress Park High School, which opened the year before, will field varsity football teams for the first time in 2018 and join CFISD’s other 10 comprehensive high schools.

All 12 football programs will play two non-district games, beginning with Week 1 (Aug. 30-Sept. 1) and again in Week 2 (Sept. 6-8). From there, the 12 will split into seven schools in District 14-6A and the remaining five will stay in District 17-6A. Both districts will be nine-team leagues, with Bryan and Tomball Memorial high schools in District 14-6A. Spring Branch ISD’s Memorial, Northbrook, Spring Woods and Stratford high schools will comprise the rest of District 17-6A.

Play in both districts begins in Week 3 (Sept. 13-15), but game times between the leagues will vary. See the schedule for details.
